Sirtuin Gene Activator
What is Resveratrol?

Resveratrol is a polyphenol in grapes, berries, and peanuts and is known as the "red wine" chemical. Polyphenols and antioxidants have been found helpful for the health and wellness of living beings. These two compounds have long been known for their beneficial effects against diseases and more importantly against aging.

Polyphenols are defined as the group of compounds that are composed of micronutrients and phytochemicals present in plant-based foods and beverages.

Anti-aging effects of Resveratrol

As resveratrol has been regarded as a potential anti-oxidant it's potential effects against aging have been the understudy for the longest time.

Scientists have discovered that resveratrol is effective against aging since it promotes the stimulation of cell proteins called sirtuins. These proteins are known for their effects in enhancing the life span of cells inside the body.

Resveratrol increases the life span of cells by increasing the activity of mitochondria inside the cell, which is known as the power house of the cell. The increase in activity of Mitochondria results in the production of energy inside the cell, thus enhancing the lives of cells.

Why Liposomal Resveratrol?

Bioavailability for Resveratrol is known to be very low. When resveratrol is ingested, less than 1% of it enters the blood, as it is quickly and degraded in the gut and liver.

Liposomes merge with the intestinal cell membrane, since the cell membrane and liposomal bi layer is very similar, and pass the Resveratrol directly into the cell. This mechanism ensures high delivery of poor or non-absorbable substances like Resveratrol. It also offers significantly greater blood dose levels than non-encapsulated products.
